![]() So I know for sure that the Water Priest and the Fire Priest didn't have time to ramp up yet. I fought them again, and like every other time, they went and killed half my team before I even got a turn. So, I managed to get past this fight before I took a break, but here's the interesting thing. Thank you so much for taking the time to type that all out - I had taken a break for dinner/workout and am just now getting back to my PC. Water Priest (Level 30) Apostle of Water: At the start of this creature's turn, it increases your other creatures' Intelligence by 15% of this creature's Intelligence. Valkyrie Scout (Level 30) Fight or Flight: After you creatures are attacked by an enemy, this creature Attacks the enemy for 50% Normal Damage. Here are the mobs on this fight and their traits: I was also thinking maybe the "boss fights" just had some kind of damage multiplier or something baked in without letting you see that - but I go through every single other boss fight just fine. But to my knowledge they don't have anything like that. If I have 1000 defense and they have 250 ATK and then one shot me.how does that work? Maybe if they had something where they use their HP instead of their ATK for damage scaling or something - ok sure. I'm just not sure how the math is working here. I'm always low on brimstone, but I'm hoping to find a way to alleviate that issue later. I pretty much constantly keep my artifacts max level and also fully stat gemmed. When I looked last, I think all three of the instakills were from spells, but I know some of my runs were attacks as well. Also, it's not just one enemy suddenly doing that damage - it's all of them. So that's kind of the thing - this happens on the first turn, so it doesn't seem to be something that ramps up as the fight goes long. Go in and add the stat gems to each of your monsters' artifacts.Īs for being one shot, check the battle log and tell me who is doing the damage and with what. I cannot explain to you how many times adding some extra gems to each artifacts made an impossible boss fight incredibly easy. Making sure your level is a bit closer to theirs helps, but more importantly upgrading artifacts. You can wipe the floor with a few realms, but you'll hit a point where you get out scaled. I know the Sanctus' have traits that constantly increase their attack, so it could have been one of them. I checked their stats and they aren't crazy either - I was thinking maybe it bugged out by cranking up the difficulty on that fight by default, and therefore them being higher level. I have inspected all of them, and there doesn't seem to be any reason why these enemies should suddenly go from dealing 20 damage to dealing 1300 damage. However, the second I get to the boss fight and have to fight Qila, suddenly instead of hitting my characters for double digit damage, every single one of the enemies just one shots anything they hit, usually hitting for like 1300 damage. I have a tank on my team that tends to take <100 damage from anything, and usually it's down near like 5-20 damage. I have a pretty defensive team, and I can auto battle everything and usually have full health and full barriers at the end. I'm playing through the story as a Priest right now.
